Okay - there was that rain-quickened and speed favoring Polytrack referred to in an earlier post. Didn't see it while the drops were falling in race 6, when closer won a sprint, but Tripp O Steel was gunned to the front from wide draw in race 7, an off-the-turf $40K N2L claimer, and set a quick pace en route to victory. Six furlongs in 1:11 and change, and he still was well in hand turning for home. Good run by Musicstreet Menace for second, but no catching the leader, and if one wante to jock-fault, M.Menace's rider was awfully, awfully patient into the stretch, considering the race ended at the sixteenth pole.
