Don't know what that Anthony's Prayer action was all about in race 4: Firster ran really poorly. As anticipated, Cap N Meds waltzed, home by many while eased up at odds of 3-5. Six furlongs in 1:12.21 for a sharp Illinois-bred MSW winner? This Polytrack is playing slow.
As for the action on the first-timer off works, I started downgrading the importance of AP morning works several weeks ago, and immediately saw a boost in my handicapping results. It just does not seem to consistently matter if a horse works fast over the Polytrack - doesn't correlate with afternoon performance.
