Those who backed Sounds Familiar to 3-5 status lost a heartbreaker when Edgar Prado had to steady the horse at the eighth pole, wheel her to the outside then come with a furious late rally that fell a nose short to 7-1 shot Lady Gracenote and apprentice Joe Musarro.
Prado was saving all the ground, but could not find room and had to wait for Delightful Vicky to pass him in order to get outside. Not really Prado's fault, just bad luck.
